To fix the Ctrl+R issue in SSMS

The Ctrl+R key sequence in SQL Server Management Studio is supposed to show/hide the results pain in a query window.

There is bug that will that will cause the process to return in the bottom left hand corner (Ctrl+R) was pressed. Waiting for second key of chord.....
And the results pane does not close or reopen when using the shortcut noted.

Effectively- the key combination ends up doing nothing.

To fix:

Open the Tools menu select Options...
Under the Environment node click on the Keyboard node
Click the Reset button
Click Yes on the dialog that pops up
